Hi Folks,

I would love to use blogtv, but it needs some major tweaks before I can do so.

What I like is the ability to invite other people on to appear on video live in addition to me. That's a great feature.

Here are the big things you need to work on for me to use your service:

#1 Unfortunately, that 2nd person is not captured in the archive. Not even the audio! This is a MAJOR problem from my point of view. I am interested in having guests on the show. If they don't show up in the archive, then what's the point?

#2 The webcast only archives in 15 minute segments. So after 15 minutes a window pops up asking you to type in some metadata about the recording (title, description, tags) and then you have to hit record again to record the next segment. This is lame.

#3 On one occasion when the window popped up asking me to fill in metadata about a 15 minute segment, it wouldn’t let me enter anything in the window. My typing appeared only in the chat window. Then it wouldn’t let me just hit save for the segment without entering data into the save window. Catch 22. I just closed my browser…I think ending the session.

#4 Is the chat archived? It's an important part of the session, it would be nice if it were archived.

Items #1&2 are the most important to me.

Feel free to email me if you want to discuss this stuff more. I'm very exicited about blogtv and I'd like it to get to a point where it's useful for me.

Thanks,

Jonny Goldstein
