THE blogTV OLYMPICS ARE COMING!

Some people think that the Olympics are for the athletically inclined alone...we beg to differ!

From August 8th to August 24th, 2008 (the two weeks the Olympics are running), blogTV will be hosting their very own set of Olympics - blogTV style! So, get your silliest blog Olympic events organized, record yourself and friends competing and tag the video with the word 'Olympics.'

Not sure what to do? Here are some directional suggestions:
1. Make sure your event can be done in front of your webcam indoors or outdoors (i.e. like on a living room couch or back yard pool)
2. Make sure your event can be a competition with co-hosts to make it exciting
3. Make sure the event stays within the blogTV rules
4. Make sure you are having fun while doing the event (this is really all for the laughs)
5. Be as creative and nutty as you can be

When you think you have a true medallion winning performance, email our community manager Kara-Hannah with the link to your video.

At the end of the two weeks, the top videos will be voted upon, by blogTV members, in order to decide who will win the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals! All of this will be done on a special poll which will be embedded in the playground of the blogOlympics page:
