I've got a crush on ObamaGirl now that she's on blogTV

I'm happy to announce that my longtime secret girl-crush, ObamaGirl just joined our blogTV community! ObamaGirl became a celebrity after the release of her first video "I Got a Crush on Obama." The song became so famous that even Obama himself felt the need to announce that he 'had nothing to do with it!'

ObamaGirl, or Amber Lee, moved from PA to New York to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology. Since she launched "I've Got a Crush on Obama" in 2007, she has been lucky enough to go to debates, be on Saturday Night Live and printed on the pages of GQ, Maxim, Stuff and FHM. Now you can find her right here on blogTV every Tues and Thurs 8PM ET.

Congratulations ShayCarl. Now go to sleep!

Insomniac Ironman Round 2 is over and looks like ShayCarl is the winner!
The insomnia started on Friday, October 24 at 5PM and continued on throughout the weekend. The challenge, which was to stay up as long as you possibly could while broadcasting live on blogTV, began with 7 contestants: ShayCarl, Lorax1515, ItsBrent, CharlesTrippy, EmptyIsAwesome, LisaNovaLive's boyfriend (Danny Diamond) and Hank Green from Vlogbrothers aka NerdFighters.

Only ShayCarl and Lorax1515 made it through to Sunday and they we're looking quite haggard by that time. Early Monday morning ShayCarl appeared drunk with sleep deprivation.

By Monday morning, October 27 around 5AM EST, Lorax1515 finally announced he would have to bail out of the contest but ONLY because he had tickets to see the 5th game of the World Series with his dad later. He claimed he would need the 8 hours of sleep to be ready for it. Likely story Lorax!

No one seemed to think that ItsBrent or LisaNovaLive's boyfriend could outlast the others.

Charlie really IS so cool like!

October 1st, 2008 - British web celeb, CharlieIsSoCoolLike, hosted his 18th birthday party right here LIVE on www.blogTV.com. In a heart warming effort to raise funds for cancer research, Charlie and friend Nerimon (another well known web celeb in England) vowed to shave their heads if their viewers could donate a substantial amount of cash to the cause. By the end of the entertaining broadcast, young Charlie and thousands of adoring fans raised a respectable £4,306.47 leaving him a year older, a bundle of hair shorter and a very good deed greater. At a time of war and fear, it is wonderful to see a young man coming of age and attempting to make his world a better place using the most modern form of communication, live broadcast.
