Help Save Mr G's Life!

BlogTV broadcaster, nedoow (Matt Wooden) is sending out a mass message in order to help save the life of his former 7th grade Social Studies teacher known as Mr. G (Frank Guariglia). Nedoow found out 8 months ago that Mr G is in desperate need of a kidney.

Mr. Guariglia began his teaching career 12 years ago in Brooklyn, NY and dedicates all of his time to his students. In 1994, he was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease, where a normal 5 oz kidney can expand up to 10 to 12lbs. In 2006, during a doctor visit, he found out his kidneys were only working at 20%. If he does not find a kidney donor soon, he will have to go on dialysis, which will only give him a 50/50 chance on returning to a normal life.

In a desperate attempt at finding a donor for Mr G, Matt will broadcast a 10 hour marathon on a newly created blogTV profile page called HelpMrG. Tune in to HelpMrG on Sunday December 14th from 2PM to midnight EST to support this great cause.

Nedoow also needs volunteers to help him spread the word, participate in his show, cohost and become an OP (operator) in the chat. He suggests that even mentioning the event during your own live show would be a great way to help. If you're interested in helping in any way, please contact nedoow.

The donor qualifications are as follows:
You must be 21 or older
You must have type 0 blood.

In our constant attempt to make blogTV user-friendly and well, pretty, we have streamlined the chat layout for you! Now you will find all of your necessary items on convenient buttons under your broadcasting screen and chat window. No more taking up useful space under your profile picture and no more searching for the elusive features that are right under your noses but somehow hard to locate.

However, the most important aspect of this new chat layout is one new answer to the LAG issue so many of you made wishes about on the wishlist. Now you will be able to close or open the "ALSO LIVE NOW" show area (now located above the broadcasting screen, the full length of the window) so that you do not experience constant refreshing, lag and over all irritation. Simply press to open and press again to close when needed.

You may also see that there is a new button above the chat window called "blogTV chat." This is a clue as to other possible chat options to come...
