YOUR WISH IS OUR COMMAND
Today blogTV uploaded the first new version since the Wishlist launched. As the TOP VOTED WISH was for better quality video, we granted it!
Now you broadcasters will notice that before you begin your broadcast you have a new option called "Start HQ Broadcast." This button will lead you to the highest quality broadcasting you have ever done on blogTV!
Next, we added several new features to the Wishlist page in order to make searching and linking to individual wishes much easier! Now you can send a link to your wish and have everyone you know vote for it!
We can't wait to see next version's wishes! So, enjoy these new features and anticipate a lot more :)

Love you guys
:O Gooo blogtv! One of my favorite features now... ;)
i tried HQ but the button is not responding. any suggestions?
I clicked on the HQ broadcast button, DL'd the necessary program, and installed profile. When i pressed start on the FME player, i was broadcasting in my room and didnt even know it! LOL. When i went to click the HQ Broadcast button, it just came up with the same instructions. The only way i could see myself broadcast, is if i were looking at myself from the FME player. I only knew i was broadcasting because someone came im my room said that i looked comfortable. lol Whats going on here?!?!?!
Mateo
nevermind... im a G. i got it figured out. lol
Well, the negative sides:
-Can't Cohost
-Can't Record and be embedded in your blogtv account
-Can't use a Mac for Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder 3
-Limited upstream/upload connection restrict your bitrate selection for broadcast.
-Consistently frozen for viewers and you as a broadcaster won't know whether or not you're frozen. Basically, no consistent stream.
Positives:
-Great Quality in terms of video frame rate and audio. From a viewer standpoint: "They make you look too pretty." -Vickieex3
-Barely see the lag, if you manage to restrict your Bandwidth requirement below your actual Upstream/upload connection.
I dont really understand how to use this that much at all.. I press Start on my friends computer, and nothing shows up on our blogtv page? How we supposed to chat with people. And then on my pc, the Adobe program wont even download -.- Keeps erroring.. Pfft so we cant go in HQ?
FME is pretty good so far.
For now, nothing will show up on your blogtv page at all. Your viewers will have to tell you whether you're live or not. Umm, you can even broadcast without being in your page, but what's the point if you're not in your page and can't interact with them.
As for you getting the error to download, make sure you filled out the info and log-in to adobe website to download.
fme is not mac compatable
Amazing. Finally a site that actually listens to their users and broadcasters and works to make things better. Happy to be here!
this is lame All that happens is another tab opens with a shit ton of codes. PS BLOGTV THERE IS A BETTER WAY OF GIVING US HQ WITH OUT DOWNLOADS OR USING 2ND PARTY SOFTWARE......IMAGINE THIS YOU COULD HOT THE HQ PLATFORM YOUR SELF FOR US AND WE DONT HAVE TO DOWNLOAD A THING WE JUST HIT START HQ AND GO.....WOW WHAT A CONCEPT.
LOL Candida you're supposed to right click save as xml file, then open up the FME program and open profile, thats the xml file. make your own settings (but at this point I'm thinking you're way to retarded to do anything with a computer, so thats out of the question) then click connect, make sure its connnected, then press start. There you got an HQ broadcast. Quit being retarded and quit complaining because you dont know how to do something the right way.^_^
HQ broadcast isn't bad but very buggy. It has a tendency to freeze or black out.. so I have to keep restarting the FME over and over again. It's the right way to go but hope it gets worked on more, and maybe actually impliment it into the browser as all it's doing is opening up more windows then it should...
FME works ok but not on BlogTV. I use it constantly on other networks without issue but it's having a issue with losing the stream on Blog. Also Mac people you don't use FME for Mac you use Quicktime Broadcaster available here http://www.apple.com/quicktime/broadcaster/
FME however does work perfectly fine on Mac under Parallels Desktop.
Says Start HG Broadcast in the blog.
I wish for 11 billon wishes.
hehe
I've just done it and got more viewers than ever!!!
Thanks BlogTv!
i want to be able to screencast, like show my desktop, nothing else
I am with you samANDanne. I have the same problem. I like it, but it can be difficult to use sometimes. http://yourwisheisyourcommand.com
