A new mini-version of blogTV was uploaded today and it includes just a few more small details that will help make your experience a great deal better.
Clear Chat Button: This button is conveniently located in the top right corner of the hosts chat window and can be used to clear the chat of spam, links or anything else unwanted by the host.
Waiting Room Viewer: This button is also located in the top right corner of the chat window (next to the clear chat button) and can be used by the host of the show or the host's permaOPs to visit each waiting room and control the content, choose OPs or simply see whats being said. Now you really are in control!
Last Seen Indicator: Now you can see the last time a person visited blogTV by checking the "Last seen on blogTV" date indicator located under the person's profile picture. This will help you keep current and know who you can expect to see online.
Any questions? Feel free to contact your community manager, Kara-Hannah at community@blogtv.com.

The chat clear button is MEH. I think an IGNORE feature like LIVE VIDEO would be the best option. You click IGNORE near the name, an you don't see morons talking no more. Plus, it's a win win, because most morons don't catch on right away (hence why they're morons) so they will still be typing stupid shit not knowing they're ignored. (LuLzORifiC stuff) A /me action script would be a great addition to the chat making you able to talk in 3rd person. The stalker status under the profile is cool I guess but I really don't get it, an the Gifty idea REPLACING our favorite shows is the main thing I hate with a passion. At least make it OPTIONAL so if I WANT to have the giftys there I CAN CHOOSE. Keep the gifty thing, but put back the FAVORITES. PEOPLE LIKE TO KNOW WHO THEIR FAVORITE BLOGGERS LIKE to watch. I usually like the updates, but some of these seem pointless to me IMO. Sorry to piss on the parade. Feel free to flame on WITH REASONS if you so desire. The waiting room feature is WIN tho. Keep up the good work.

How do you use the "Waiting Room" Tab...?
Posted by: Hakeem | September 04, 2009 at 11:48 PM
The waiting room tab is only relevant if you have a waiting room. That
would mean you have over 150 chatters in your show at once.

WHERE IS THE IGNORE BUTTON YOU *BLEEPS*
Posted by: HOE | September 08, 2009 at 05:44 PM
Will Blogtv do something about all the fake viewers in the next update? Blogtv can't even advertize the number of viewers it has because it would be a llie since thousands of them are fake.

is it possible to have the notification of " has been kicked by " onli seen by the perma ops and the host or maybe just by the host itself so harrassment does not fall onto the hosts' ops or is further abused by said "kicked" member? they often end up entering a room, check to see who kicked them and creep on ops of a host or even just raid the op's room when it's their turn to host.
just a question =)
